Our audience smaller than other festivals so that visitor experience is the best it can be.

We have not yet announces our 2026 line-up but it’s coming soon!
When will tickets go on sale?
Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 5 May at 10am. You can book them here.
Can I buy tickets for all the shows together?
We have listened to feedback and are pleased to be able to offer a bundle ticket for this year’s festival so that you can purchase all five evening shows in one with a slight discount. We cannot however guarantee the same seats and seating will still be allocated on arrival for each show.
How much are tickets to the festival?
Evening show tickets are £37.50 per person, plus SEE Tickets booking fees.
The bundle ticket is priced at £177.50 per person – a saving of £10 – plus SEE Ticket booking fees.
Our Sunday afternoon game show is priced at £27.50 plus SEE Ticket booking fees. A minimum of £7.50 per ticket purchased goes to charity – Dorothy House and We Hear You.
When do doors open? and what are the timings of the events?
Wednesday – gates open 5pm, show starts 8pm, show ends approx 10.45pm
Thursday – gates open 5pm, show starts 8pm, show ends approx 10.45pm
Friday – gates open 5pm, show starts 8pm, show ends approx 10.45pm (bar and music after the show)
Saturday – gates open 5pm, show starts 8pm, show ends approx 10.45pm (bar and music after the show)
Sunday afternoon – gates open 12midday, show starts 1pm and lasts approx 1hr.
Sunday – gates open 5pm, show starts 8pm, show ends approx 10.45pm
Are latecomers allowed?
Yes but please try to arrive promptly for the start of the show so that you can find your seats easily. We close the gates when the show is about to begin, but we will have staff on the gate, so it if you are here after 8pm you will still be admitted, but may need to park outside the site.
Do you accept cash or cards?
We are a cash and card friendly venue.
Essential Companion Tickets
At Rode Comedy Festival, we want everyone to be able to enjoy our events. Subject to availability, we offer complimentary Essential Companion tickets for disabled guests who need a carer or support person present in order to attend.
Am I eligible?
An Essential Companion ticket is for guests who require a carer or support person to attend with them — someone who is there to provide essential support rather than to enjoy the event as a guest in their own right.
How to apply
Simply email us at info@popupcomedy.org with your booking reference and one of the following as proof of eligibility:
• Nimbus Disability Access Card (with the +1 symbol)
• DLA award letter confirming the higher rate care or mobility component
• PIP award letter confirming the enhanced rate daily living or mobility component
We may occasionally need to follow up with a question or two.
Essential Companion tickets are subject to availability, so we recommend applying as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Disabled and accessible parking will be allocated on arrival. Please let the stewards on the gate know that this is required as you enter the site.
How will I receive my tickets?
We don’t post out any physical tickets, but you do need to bring your tickets with you to each show – either print-at-home or on your phone. We strongly advise to download the tickets before arrival onsite, as phone signal may be limited.
Are seats allocated?
Seats are allocated on arrival at the site, on a first come first served basis. Everyone will be given a seat of course! When we scan your ticket you will be given a wrist band with a seat number. If you wish to sit in a group please let us know on arrival and this can be arranged. We advise arriving as early as possible.
Is there an age limit?
We recommend that shows are for age 18+, though 16+ will be admitted when accompanied by an adult, and at parental discretion. Please be advised that there will be adult content throughout the shows.
Our Sunday afternoon gameshow is suitable for 12+, however there may be some adult content. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Will there be food and drink available?
Yes! We have a fully stocked bar sponsored by Butcombe Brewing Co, with beers, cider and ale on tap, and spirits/mixers available, including Barti Rum, and our very own special Rode Comedy Festival Still Life Gin.
We also have non-alcoholic beer on tap. Delicious food will be supplied by our local food vendors – Somerset Foodie, Son of a Bun, Field and France and The Pizza Box.
We will have plenty of options available, and vegetarian/vegan food available. For any specific food allergen info please email info@popupcomedy.org.
Please do not bring your own food and drink onto the site, our license does not allow for this.However if you have particular food allergies, we will of course accommodate your requests to bring your own food if you can notify us in advance.
What if I am unable to attend?
We are sorry but tickets are non-refundable. If you would like to resell your tickets we recomment ethical ticketing resale platform Twickets or resell options through SEE Tickets.
Where is the festival located?
The festival takes place at a lovely campsite called Pitchperfect Camping, in Woolverton (next to Rode!). For information on how to find the site click here.
Can I camp at the festival?
There is no camping this year at the festival.
Do I need to purchase a parking ticket?
For 2026 we will be charging a small fee for parking per car to enable us to plan ahead and to encourage car sharing. Parking will be allocated on arrival. Please do consider car pooling with other attendees, or taking a taxi to the site.
Can I leave my car and get a taxi home?
We would be happy for you to collect your car in the morning and book a taxi to take you home. If you would like to do this, please let us know on arrival and we will take your mobile number and car number plate.
Where can I stay?
We recommend staying locally in Rode, Beckington, Norton St Philip (The George would be a good option!), or Frome is a 10-minute drive away with more available – check out AirBnB for plenty of options, but book early! There is also a Travel Lodge at Beckington.
